2018 Chestnut Gelding – Twilight Son / Keep The Secret

We purchased Epic Express from the Tattersalls December Yearlings Sales and took him home to prepare him for the Guineas Breeze Ups. He always showed a bit of character and was a difficult horse to break-in but we took our time with him, giving a lot of focus on long reigning and ground work before backing him. 

He prepared well for the Guineas Breeze Ups, which were delayed due to Covid lockdown, but that played in his favour as the extra time served him well. He posted a 22.09 over 2F and he was snapped up privately. 

Since going into training with James Ferguson, he’s ran in two Median Auction Maiden races, placing twice.
