Gin O'Clock

A lovely colt by the second leading first-season sire in the UK and Ireland by individual winners, Kodi Bear. 

Gin O’Clock finished 2nd on his debut run in a 1m Novice Stakes at York in October 2021. He showed his inexperience on his first start but came on for the run.

This form was franked later that month when the horse who finished third and fifth behind him on debut went on to win and finish second in a Novice at Redcar Racecourse.

It didn’t take long to get on the winner’s board and he ran out an easy winner of a 7F Novice Stakes at Chelmsford in November 2021. Trainer Alice Haynes had him on top form and he cruised to victory under the hands of Silvestre de Sousa. 

Gin O’Clock was subsequently sold to race in Hong Kong and we look forward to seeing him progress over there – he’s bound to return to the winner’s enclosure before long.
